People sending gift packets to soliders pg 82

Are helping to make phone calls to solicit money for care packages for our soldiers fighting a war over seas .

They were young once and they know what todays soldiers are going thrrough and how they need help.

Are given to soldiers so they can call their wives and children while they are at war .

It is hard on the family to be home and not get to see their service mother or father sometimes the whole family is sent over seas .

Thats when someone else a grandparent a friend has to step up to the plate and become the parent.

This happened to a friend of mine they took care of their two little granddaughter while the parents went off to fight the war.

If I could I would give everyone of them a international flag of love they are thinking beyond themselves they are seein that the good they do during their lifetime will live longer then they do .

They believe as I do that love is the strongest force in the whole world because it is a force for good .

Our solidiers are dying and getting injured in foreign countries the least we can do is spare a few bucks to send these care packages when we are called upon to help.

If it was us we would want to know the people at home cared about us.

We should be publically thanking every soldier we see on the street for being in the service at a time like this I do . They deserve our thanks they are a all voulenteer army no one is drafted like in Vietnam either .

I thank former soldiers to for serving their country also . Life has never been easy for soldiers .In the past or today alot of world war soldiers still have problems from the past night mares from other wars some times the pain never goes away.

Some of these soldiers go back to visit the country they fought the war in years later when they are old they talk to people they fought against . Today they can do that and today they can try to understand one another and become friends .

Maybe someday after this war ends that will happen here.

I remember when I was a child we would get together school supplies for children in other countries during christmas we would all bring in things for these red cross boxes to help school children in other countries .

Back then the United States lead in education today we need to get back to that time I think their were 50 kids in my fifth grade class but we still learned .

We need to make our schools safer for our children we need to bring back paddling this helped with discipline no one shot anyone they won't think of it we need to take away the idea of suing the school system if your child gets paddled .

We don't need to waste dollars on law suits that could be spent on education .
