Effect On Children

Without knowing it parents destroy their childrens lives by divorcing their spouses . Without even really seeing a marriage advisor .If their parents didn't stick it out when things got tough why should they . The parents don't think back to how hard it was on them when their parents got a divorce . They just think about how good it well be with their new boyfriend or girlfriend which helped to end their marriage. Right now love has blinded them to the fact that people who want married people really don't want commitment . They are looking for a short term relationship not a full time one .

Some broken relationships can be fixed and you know the saying time heals all wounds . Their are lots of lonely men and women out their who are divorced and well probaly die alone . But it is more important to them to win the argument then it is to save the marriage . Go to a marriage encounter meeting talk to your minsiter talk to your spouse thats probaly something you haven't done in a long time or you wouldn't be arguing in the first place .Learn new ways to communicate your feelings to one another if you say things in anger no one hears them don't give up on your marriage .You have a lot of good memories together that you share . You can make new good memories together of new things you do together .

Some times it is years later

Divorce hurts families but families should try to stay together even after a divorce they should both attend school functions for their child . They should go together for parent teacher conferences and should try to live in the same neighborhood if possible . Put the childrens needs first don't put the other parent down in front of the child. If you need to discuss something wait until the child is in bed or away at a friends house for the weekend . Plan family activities which include both parents once in a while . If you are remarried include your new spouses in these activities . Let your child know they are loved and are special

Children help your parents

You can be a great help to your parents and can possibly keep them in your life longer .

!. If they remarry that is their business try to get along with the new spouse and treat them with respect .

2.Don't play one parent against the other if one parent says you cannot hang out with Joe respect that parent and don't go behind their back to get the other parent to let you hang out with Joe . If a parent doesn't want you to hang out with someone listen they have been here longer then you have .

3. Pick up your room and do your homework getting mad and shuting down won't help you it well only hurt you .

4. Tell the truth when asked about things don't lie about either parent to the other parent.

5. At least be a freind to a stepparent maybe someday you might need them to help you raise your own children .

6. Remember the most important thing you do while you are alive is love other people all people even those who are bad you don't have to hang out with bad people to care for them keep them in your heart and pray for them.

7. Amount to something do the best you can with school with your job with your family and friends .

8. If you haven't seen a parent in years and you know they want to see you go see them . Anger is okay if it is just but you need to at least talk to them every story has two sides and no one nowhere on Earth is perfect except Jesus . Remember a parent is a part of you even though you may not know your relatives you have things in common with them . If you got together you would be surprised what you have in common and how much you are alike little things like maybe liking the same music or both having talent in a certain area like sining, dancing , math , science, and antique furniture restoration

9. If you don't at least talk to them you might not get the opportunity to again one of you might die .

10. If they don't want to talk to go on with your life that is not your fault you have done nothing wrong you are not a bad person and are guility of nothing .

Just because your parents made a mistake don't you make one .

Just because your family divorced doesn't mean you will . True marriage is not easy you need to spend time looking around and don't have sex before marriage . Divorce rate is real high in couples who have sex before marriage . You need to get a good job before you get married so money won't be a issue either.
