We need to send money to the relief effort for hurricane Gustav . Thousands of people have had to leave their homes and go in other directions to wait out the storm. Alot of damage again to the interstructure . Alot of power lines down but this time there was no flooding no one needed rescued very few people died .

This proves american no how is the greatest in the world .The news that people didn't die were not stuck on bridges and dogs and cats got to go with the families should send the stock market scoring . This proves we as a people can get prepared and can save lives if we know far enough in advance this cost the country a lot of money to transport all of these people away from here and abck again so what ever you can contribute will be excepted to the Red Cross or what ever organization to help.

I know from experience I was in a flood as a child . My mother was home alone with to children me and my sister sandie . It rained all night long we lived right next store to the river . Water rose and rose tell home heating oil tank was hitting the side of our home .

Mom ,Ethel Wortman, was afraid of water her father died saving someone else from drowning he's name was Richard Stephens he is in my book International Book Of Love A Dolls Like Us Book And on my website if you look around you will find him. He is my hero he died for someone he didn't even know they were drowning and he saved their lives .

Mom was a witness so being in a flood was very scary to Ethel. She knew our house was not even bolted togather and she had never learned to swim and the water was probaly over me and my sisters head needless to say she didn't sleep all night .

Dad showed up the next day first tried to find our row boat when he couldn't he broke a pad lock on the neibors and we stayed with the people a top the hill until the water went down .

After living through Katrena people will worry about New Orleans for years to come during Hurricane season .

Our country cares they want to help people who need help they want to stop this from happening . We want to see New Orleans Not flood again and with Yankee know how I am convinced we can do it .

Their are wonderful people in the United Stated caring giving people who want to make sure their neighbors in Lousania are okay . So some might offer their homes up for temporay shelter for them but this time they should get to go home in weeks not months this storm will put fixing leves up a notch and more people will probaly be hired to build they levy so it doesn't happen again .

We need people like we had before to go to New Orleans and help rebuild it . A lot of youth groups showed up and rebuild roofs last time and painted . People from University of Dayotn went as voulenteers we will need more volunteers .

America is a great country because of its volunteers alot of good has been done since the founding of this country because of it's volunteers . The good that we do will live years after we die .

I think of Joseph Wortman who sold wheat their 6 times during he's lifetime to make money for people back hiome and he's boat wreck in Randolph Tennesse.

How he re boxed the wheat after it and was still able to sell it for a profit . He loved he's friends and neighbors enough to face river current and Indians on the way back as will as theives and robbers while he walked back to Ohio .

What a man what a hero 1831 doing all of this for a little over 100 dollars and the money wasn't for him it was for other people .

We need to work togather as a country for the good that comes out of tradegty can sometimes over shadow the tradegty people need to come from all over the country get down and get dirty tring to help others 2008-09-02
